25-minute one-on-one lessons
Twenty-five focused minutes, one-on-one with your teacher. No app installation is required - everything runs in your browser. The lesson board lets your teacher share quizzes and materials on screen, so you learn by seeing and writing, not just speaking.
Courses of 25 minutes x 10 lessons
Lessons are sold as courses of ten 25-minute sessions. Each teacher designs the curriculum around their own background and expertise and sets the price themselves (17,000 to 50,000 yen per course, tax included). Rather than one-off lessons, the ten sessions are built to move you toward a goal.
Courses for every goal
Business Japanese, JLPT preparation, lessons for children, and specialised Japanese for nursing and care. Search by category, by a teacher's track record, or by the languages they support to find the right teacher for you. A one-minute free diagnosis can point you in the right direction.
A record of every lesson
After each lesson a learning record is saved. What you can now do, and what comes next, is shared with your teacher - so your progress builds up in a visible form and carries over even if your teacher changes.
Rules that let you keep going
Courses are valid for six months from purchase, so you can go at your own pace. Within that period you can cancel partway and receive a refund for the lessons you have not taken, minus a set administrative fee. Payments are processed securely through Stripe, and cards issued outside Japan are accepted.
